Welcome to our first newsletter for 2012!
We are now into March and wondering what happened to the summer, we didn’t seem to have one here on the East coast of NSW! I must admit that it’s not my favourite season but some warm beach weather would have been enjoyable, especially now that we are living so close to the ocean and a lovely rock pool.
Bob and I are really enjoying living in our new home in Gerringong, it’s a big change from a small acreage to town living but we are very happy here. We also relocated Glenora Weaving to our home during the Christmas break, It was a huge job with over 600 kilo of yarn and fibre to move, plus all the shelving, equipment and fittings, never again! However, the office is working well and although we have less display room now customers are still welcome to come and visit to choose their textiles personally, but please make an appointment.
Don’t forget to check out our new website where you can view the full catalogue and sample cards, plus shop and order on-line but remember that you are also very welcome to phone us with any queries or orders, we really enjoy chatting with our customers. For your convenience our invoices now include bank details for direct deposits and we also accept cheque, money order or credit cards payments.
Bob and I have been operating Glenora Weaving & Wool since 1998 and we have just generated our 10,000th customer invoice! To celebrate this important milestone the lucky customer has received a $100 gift voucher to spend with us. Congratulations to Heather Newell, a weaver from Kogarah.
Our Summer Specials and Diary dates for 2012 are overleaf, so please come and visit us at these events, we really enjoy meeting our customers and friends again.
Enjoy your Textiles!
